Alyssa Aulbach, DVM

Dr. Aulbach was born in New Orleans, LA but grew up most of her life in Southwestern Virginia. She graduated from Hollins University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2011. Then moving to Prince Edward Island, Canada she went on to earn her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Atlantic Veterinary College in 2016. Before joining Earlysville Animal Hospital, Dr. Aulbach worked for 5 years at Kiln Creek Animal Care in Newport News, VA. Her veterinary interests include dermatology, preventative medicine, dentistry, behavior, and nutrition.

Dr. Aulbach has also completed her Fear Free Elite and Cat Friendly Veterinary Certification. Dr. Aulbach resides in Charlottesville, VA and outside of work enjoys cooking, gardening, and traveling. Her furry family includes Huxley, a Goldendoodle, and Jackson, a German Shorthaired Pointer.
