Stephanie Hookey, DVM

Dr. Stephanie Hookey is a Canadian who resided in Ontario before making the move to Virginia. She completed her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Guelph, graduating from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2021. Before joining Earlysville Animal Hospital, she worked in Ontario, where she most recently worked at a Fear Free Certified clinic for the last 2.5 years. Her veterinary interests include dentistry, surgery, preventative medicine and building strong relationships with clients and patients. 

Dr. Hookey is Fear Free Certified and strongly believes in the importance of minimizing fear and anxiety during veterinary visits. 

Outside of work, Dr. Hookey enjoys spending time with her Husband, Josh and their beautiful Australian Shepherd, Maverick and goofy Silken Windhound puppy, Indy. Some of her favourite past times include hiking, biking, horseback riding and gardening.
